Erroll Garner, one of the greatest jazz pianist that ever lived, who never learnt to read sheet music. Its hard to find a pianist who can swing as hard as Garner. Check out the pure joy of jazz piano playing

In his version of lullaby of birdland, you can see how he create some really nice melodies by developing the two bar motif starting from the start of his solo. Check out the transcription of his solo in this file..

Hi there,
I refer to your page on Errol Garner Solo Transcription on Lullaby of BirdLand and the youtube clip. On this clip there are several tunes including One Note Samba by AC. Jobim, and On the Street where you Live but I could not find Lullaby of Birdland at all in it.
Just to let you know.
I find your site extremely useful and thank you for that.
Regards
Andres.
