Beatboxing Cook

by KCLau on August 5, 2007

Beatboxing is the vocal percussion of hip hop culture and music. Considered by many to be the fifth element of hip-hop, it is primarily concerned with the art of creating beats, rhythms, and melodies using the human mouth. It can also involve singing, vocal scratching (the imitation of turntable skills), the simulation of horns, strings, and other musical instruments, and the replication of a vast array of sound effects.

Watch this video, you will see the “beast” beatboxing at the kitchen while showing you the recipe. There are more than 20 sound effects produced by his mouth! Really a stunning vocal performance!

The effects he imitates perfectly are:
1. 808 clap
2. dry snare
3. 909 clap snare
4. kick
5. synth bass
6. white noise
7. scratch
