Joe sample is one of my favourite pianist of all time. His improvisation is the most melodious I heard so far compared to other pianist. He can really make the piano sings!
The video shows one of his live recording session. Drummers, double-bassist, Joe Sample himself playing the piano and Randy Crawford singing Joe’s composition - Street Life. I like Joe’s groove very much!
