Walden Woods Arts Case Piano sold $510k by Don Henley

by KCLau on October 12, 2007

The lead singer and drummer of Eagles, Don Henley hosted a charity dinner with the centrepiece being a custom-built Steinway model D piano autographed by Billy Joel, Bruce Hornsby, Elton John, Herbie Hancock and others. The piano was auctioned at the Walden Woods in New York and earned $510,000 for the charity.

This piano is certainly a great piece of art for decoration. Before I can afford this baby, I’ll have to keep my Korg SGProX for now.
