I think KCLau's point here is that music is all about the creation of sound in such a manner that it is pleasant to our ears. In other words, the quality of music is measured by our ears. A person can play a scale or lick in lightning speed, but if it doesn't sound good, its not good music. A person can compose a song with very very complex harmony, but if it doesn't sound good, its not good music. Am I right??

I tend to write about music. But no matter how we describe something, it is still better for the audience to hear it themselves, rather reading my words.
Anyway, we Pianologist will still keep posting as usual :)

Thanks for visiting, Mat!

I personally find creating music as important as hearing music from other people. I play to relax, as a hobby, and to teach others. It is a two way street; I believe that to hear music means someone else has to create it.
