I don't know that a "musical gift" is going to result in a natural progression to true romantic love and/or sex. But, I do think music composed or played with a particular person in mind is a fantastic gift.

As a female, and as a partner in Music 2 Work 2, I know from experience that having special music composed for you can be a wonderful expression of emotion, caring, friendship and love. The composer of Music 2 Work 2 often writes a musical piece with someone special in mind - for a birthday, an expression of caring during an especially difficult experience in their life, or as a tribute to someone who has been especially important to him in his own life. To know that a musical composition was done with only you in mind can speak louder than words and express a depth of feeling and caring that no words could adequately convey.

If you visit the Music 2 Work 2 web site, you will find many of the compositions are titled with people's names. In fact, when composing a piece for a special person or event, the composer will often utilize a method he has devised of taking a set of numbers, specific to a person, couple or occasion (birthdates, meeting date, age, etc.) to set the tempo and the time signature of the compostion, and applying a "Top-Secret" algorithm. This makes it very personal, and very special.

So, in response to the question asked in "Love for Music, Music for Love," I think your little sister or any girl would be thrilled with your gift of music. It may not hold the "magic power" to find the love of your life or win a woman's undying love and devotion. But I think music can be a wonderful, personal, caring, unique and special gift for anyone who holds a meaningful place in your life.
