This video is prepared by PlayPianoToday, teaching you how to use ‘phat’ chord voicing in your piano playing. In the video, the instructor shows you how to play Em7 9 in ‘phat’ voicing. For normal dull piano playing, the Em7 9 is play from bottom E, G, B, D, and F# in close and tight manner. But the instructor shows you how he voice it by tearing the chord apart, play E, B, G, D, F# with both hands. Left hand playing the E and B (a perfect 5^th), and right hand playing the other 3 notes with the F# at the top.
